About The Position

Esse Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Fenton Family Medicine office at 714 Gravois Rd. This is a part-time, outpatient-focused role working 24 hours per week across three days of the employee’s choice, Monday through Friday. The position provides comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in a collaborative, physician-led practice. The role is not benefit eligible unless minimum hours worked for eligibility are met.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing Science or a Physician Assistant master’s degree.
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri, or eligibility for licensure.
• Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner, or eligibility for certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build one-to-one relationships with patients and clinical staff as part of a collaborative team.
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
• Conduct patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a physician partner.
• Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the NextGen electronic health record.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives.
