Weight Management – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – St. Cloud, MN
About The Position
CentraCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team working with our Weight Management Team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be a member of our collaborative team of Physicians, Providers, Registered Dietitians, psychologists, pharmacists and Nurses working to provide patient and family-centered care throughout the practice. The Weight Management department is progressive and comprehensive, leading the state in its field. The focus is on treating, helping, and impacting the whole person through a multidisciplinary approach to weight loss, offering a variety of surgical and medical options designed to meet a person’s specific needs and achieve the best long-term outcomes. The team is collaborative, consisting of physicians, advanced practice providers, and dietitians.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working independently with your own patient panel in one of the following areas: Family Practice, Weight Management, or Chronic Disease Management
Responsibilities
- Provide patient and family-centered care within the Weight Management Team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physicians, Providers, Registered Dietitians, psychologists, pharmacists, and Nurses.
