The role combines clinic and inpatient general cardiology, procedures, and potential outreach, supporting a diverse cardiology patient population and the structural heart program. The provider will practice with a high degree of autonomy and receive physician collaboration and support. The position also has a dedicated focus on the growing atrial fibrillation program, initially supporting the left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) program. Working with a multidisciplinary electrophysiology and cardiology team, the provider will deliver guideline-directed care, risk factor modification, patient education, and coordinated procedural planning. There are opportunities to expand into broader AFib care and help develop evidence-based pathways to improve access, care coordination, and outcomes.
