About The Position
Skywood Recovery, a 100-bed residential treatment facility, is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. Located in Augusta, Michigan, just minutes from Kalamazoo, Skywood serves a diverse adult patient population aged 18 and over. The role involves the care of assigned mental health and detox patients, conducting psychiatric evaluations for new patients, and performing history and physicals. The position includes a call rotation once every six weeks and an average caseload of 15 patients per day. Skywood Recovery is part of the Foundations Recovery Network, which is newly owned and operated as a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS). The facility utilizes evidence-based and research-proven treatment methods focused on the whole person, treating mind, body, and spirit for lasting recovery. Their approach incorporates 12-Step principles and motivational services tailored to each patient's stage of readiness to promote engagement, retention, and long-term recovery outcomes.
