About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established, physician-led team in Modesto, California. The role provides outpatient care to adults in a collaborative setting, with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and long-term patient relationships. Clinical support includes receptionists and medical assistants, and on-site lab and imaging services. The group uses Epic as its electronic health record. Alternative hours are required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current California NP or PA license, or ability to obtain one.
• Board certification as an NP or PA.
• DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 1 year of Ambulatory Internal Medicine or Urgent Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered outpatient Internal Medicine care to adults.
• Focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
• Build long-term relationships with patients.
