Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Virtual Internal Medicine (Temporary)
About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group seeks a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a temporary, full-time virtual Internal Medicine position. This primary care role is for a fixed period of five months. Candidates must reside in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, or Florida. The position offers a resource-rich working environment and collaboration with on-site primary care clinicians and medical specialists. Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 2,200 physicians across 40+ specialties and practices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It is affiliated with the not-for-profit Palo Alto Medical Foundation, which provides operational and administrative support, including technology, so clinicians can focus on patient care.
Requirements
- Current California State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- For Nurse Practitioners: current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number.
- For Physician Assistants: CAPA Controlled Substance Certification.
- Active DEA registration.
- Reside in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, or Florida.
Nice To Haves
- Six months or more of related clinical experience in primary care.
