About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its physician-led team in Modesto, California. The role provides outpatient care to adults in a collaborative setting, with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, high-quality patient-centered care, and building long-term relationships with patients. The position requires alternative hours.

The practice offers clinical support from receptionists and certified medical assistants, with lab and imaging services on site. The group uses Epic and describes itself as stable and growing. Gould Medical Group is a physician-led, multispecialty organization with more than 600 physicians and advanced practice providers across over 33 specialties, partnering with Sutter Health to provide coordinated care throughout California’s Central Valley.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current California NP or PA license, or ability to obtain one.
• Board certification as an NP or PA.
• DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 1 year of Ambulatory Internal Medicine or Urgent Care experience.
• Availability to work alternative hours.

Responsibilities
