About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a busy Urology clinic with Laredo Physician group. The position involves providing comprehensive care, supporting physicians with value-based care initiatives, educating patients on the proper utilization of emergency and urgent care services, and collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate coding, risk adjustment, and quality documentation. The role also includes participating in after-hours and weekend call rotation, covering for physicians during leave periods, and championing coordinated care models for Medicare and Medicaid populations.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active or eligible Texas license
Nice To Haves
- Prior family medicine experience preferred
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
