Urology NP/PA Job Quick Facts • Specialty: Urology NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Eureka, CA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Aug 1, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p - With 1-2 hrs of hospital rounding included • Patient Volume: 15 OP; 2-3 IP • Patient Demographics: - 95% Adults, 2% Peds, 3% Trauma • Rounding Included: Yes • % of Practice: 90% OP, 10% IP • Physician in Practice: 1 • Support Staff: 2 RNs, 2 MAs & 3 Office Staff • Required Skill: Able to operate on their own; Minimal training will be provided. • Required Procedures: IP & OP Acute Care Settings, ER, Surgical Care & Suturing. • Office Equipment: - Olympus Cystoscopy Machine x 2 - Valleylab Force Electrosurgical cautery machine - Laborie Portascan 3D bladder scanner - Laborie Urodynamics machine and uroflow - Laborie PTNS device x 2, BK medical TRUS machine • No. of Exam Rooms: 6 • Total No. of Beds: 140 • Beds in the Dept: 3-5 • Trauma Level: III • EMR: Epic & Synapse (IP & OP) • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC
- DEA
- BLS, ACLS
- At least 2 yrs of current hospital/clinical activity in the specialty
