About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic surgery team in Sacramento, CA. This position provides a balanced mix of clinic and operating room responsibilities while working closely with orthopedic surgeons across multiple subspecialties. The APP will participate in patient evaluations, perioperative management, post-operative care, first-assist responsibilities, and patient education. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a collaborative orthopedic program dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active California NP or PA license, or ability to obtain
- Ability to function effectively in both clinic and surgical settings
Nice To Haves
- Orthopedic surgery experience strongly preferred
- First-assist experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
