About The Position

We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife at our Euclid Avenue Health Center. This role is full-time and fully benefitted at 32 hours/week with a schedule of 4 days with 8-hour shifts. This has the following schedule, based on a 2 week rotation: Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2 is: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Please note: there is one shift every other week that will be scheduled at our Chula Vista Health Center. Bring your passion for reproductive healthcare to life by providing high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. You’ll also be a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members. This role is designed for licensed Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Certified Nurse Midwives licensed in the state of California.

Requirements

Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling.
Be a medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members.
Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements.
Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.
Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy).
