About The Position

Baptist Health is Jacksonville's only locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system, offering a full spectrum of care through over 200 locations and six hospitals. The hospitalist team consists of internists and family physicians who exclusively practice in the hospital, partnering with outpatient and post-acute care physicians to provide comprehensive care. The team provides on-site, 24/7 care and is a valued part of the inpatient team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Minimum of one year of experience in Hospital Medicine or Critical Care/ICU
- Certified and licensed APRN/PA
- Current Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain
- Valid Florida driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide care for 16-20 patients per day.
- Work within the Epic EHR System.
- Provide on-site, 24/7 care as part of the inpatient team.
