Our work intersects with nearly every major hospital specialty, including: Cardiology Nephrology Infectious Disease Surgery Nutrition Wound Care Rehabilitation Providers work closely with hospitalists, nursing teams, pharmacy, dietitians, and endocrinology support teams to deliver coordinated inpatient care.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted GA NP or PA license
  • NP certification as FNP, AGNP, or ACNP, or PA-C certification
  • EMR proficiency required
  • Recent Inpatient experience required
  • Minimum one-year commitment required
  • Strong new graduates with inpatient clinical training are also encouraged to apply

Nice To Haves

  • Prior inpatient hospitalist experience
  • Outpatient diabetes management experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient diabetes and glycemic management consultations
  • Manage adult hospitalized patients on Med-Surg and Step-Down units
  • Adjust insulin and diabetes therapies using evidence-based protocols
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, nursing, pharmacy, and acute care teams
  • Document directly within the hospital EMR
  • Practice within a highly collaborative inpatient consultative model
