Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology (NWWI)
About The Position
The selected candidate would join an established group of 7 General Gastroenterologists, 1 Advanced Endoscopist and 6 APPs in providing gastroenterology services in the NWWI Region. The NWWI Gastroenterology division is in a state of growth, not only in size, geographic patient care and services. The Gastroenterology NP/PA will provide support to the growing practice by seeing patients primarily in the inpatient hospital, independently in the Eau Claire location, as well as could be seeing occasional patients in the outpatient clinic.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience in providing gastroenterology services
- Ability to see patients primarily in the inpatient hospital
- Ability to see patients independently in the Eau Claire location
- Ability to see occasional patients in the outpatient clinic
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive assessments
- Ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Formulating a diagnostic impression
- Developing and implementing a treatment plan
- Monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
- Prescription of pharmacological agents and non-pharmacological therapies
