IMS is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our GI department to join our Avondale Clinic. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program
• Passage of board-approved certifying exam
• License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona
• At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans
• Perform physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education
• Provide family planning and well-woman exams
• Order and interpret patient care tests, treatments, and exams
• Handle prescription needs
• Provide advice regarding chronic pain problems
• Provide general health education and coordination of care
