About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Endocrinology. This role is located in Los Gatos, CA & Mountain View, CA. The position offers a resource-rich working environment with state-of-the-art facilities, including onsite laboratories and digital imaging departments. The schedule is designed to promote work/life balance, and the opportunity allows collaboration with a talented team of primary care providers and medical specialists. The role involves caring for patients with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, patients on Insulin Pumps, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and osteoporosis follow-up, with the potential to expand clinical expertise into additional endocrine conditions based on experience and interest.
Requirements
- 6 months to a 1 year endocrine related clinical experience
- Current California State NP or PA License
- CAPA Controlled Substance Certification (for Physician Assistants only)
- Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
- Nurse Practitioner furnishing number of NP’s
- Active DEA registration

Responsibilities
- Care for patients with New and follow up - Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, patients on Insulin Pumps, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and osteoporosis follow up
