About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full time, certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Endocrinology. This role is located in Fremont, CA. The position offers a resource-rich working environment with state-of-the-art facilities, including onsite laboratories and digital imaging departments. The role involves caring for patients with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and osteoporosis, with the potential to expand clinical expertise into additional endocrine conditions based on experience and interest.
Requirements
- 6 months to a 1 year related clinical experience
- Current California State NP or PA License
- CAPA Controlled Substance Certification (for Physician Assistants only)
- Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
- Nurse Practitioner furnishing number of NP’s
- Active DEA registration
- On-site role
Nice To Haves
- Endocrinology experience preferred
- At least 1 year of Endocrinology clinical experience, including management of patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
Responsibilities
