Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Endocrinology, (Santa Clara, CA)
About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Endocrinology. This role offers a resource-rich working environment with state-of-the-art facilities, including onsite laboratories and digital imaging departments. You will care for patients with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, patients on Insulin Pumps, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and osteoporosis follow-up, with the ability to expand clinical expertise into additional endocrine conditions based on experience and interest.
Requirements
- 6 months to a 1 year endocrine related clinical experience
- Current California State NP or PA License
- CAPA Controlled Substance Certification (for Physician Assistants only)
- Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
- Nurse Practitioner furnishing number of NP’s
- Active DEA registration
Nice To Haves
- GLP1-RA, insulin pump and CGM experience is preferred
- 1 - 2 years in Endocrinology, Diabetes or Gestational Diabetes
Responsibilities
