About The Position
In this position, you will care for adult patients with nonmalignant hematological conditions. Your role will include comprehensive patient assessment, ordering and interpreting of appropriate tests, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic benign hematologic conditions in new and established patients. Patient education will be fundamental.
Requirements
- Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Minnesota RN license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice
- Must be eligible for DEA registration
- BLS certification required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain long-term professional and compassionate relationships with patients, family, and colleagues
- Demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
Nice To Haves
- DNP preferred
- Hematology experience as an APP or completion of APP Hematology fellowship preferred
