About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neonatology. The role involves providing comprehensive neonatal intensive care to critically ill newborns in an inpatient, 24/7 onsite setting. The Nurse Practitioner will manage and monitor neonates requiring advanced life support, including ventilators, IVs, and medications. This position requires collaboration with neonatologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists to develop and implement treatment plans. Key duties include performing neonatal procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, lumbar puncture, and chest tube insertion, as well as ensuring accurate documentation, following hospital protocols, and communicating effectively with families.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in MA
- PALS required
- Experience in Neonatal intensive care
