Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine PRN
About The Position
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to help meet the growing demand for primary care services at Franciscan Wheatfield Health Center in Wheatfield, Indiana, with occasional coverage at Franciscan Brook Health Center in Brook, IN. This role offers a collegial environment and strong mentorship opportunities. The ideal candidate will focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, possess exceptional interpersonal skills, and desire to build strong community ties and long-lasting patient relationships. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care. Practice hours are Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., following a traditional PRN schedule. The average outpatient volume is 18-20 patients per day, treating patients of all ages, with telehealth services offered. Common diagnoses include child and adult wellness visits, back pain, endocrinology issues, hypertension, and heart failure. Requirements
- Master's Degree
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
