Requirements

  • Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner experience
  • Ability to prescribe medications and manage medication therapy within state scope of practice
  • Experience ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies
  • Experience managing chronic conditions
  • Experience providing preventive care
  • Experience providing women's, men's, adolescent, and geriatric primary care
  • Experience evaluating and treating minor injuries, infections, respiratory illnesses, and other common conditions
  • Experience performing or assisting with office-based procedures
  • Experience monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans
  • Experience coordinating referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals
  • Experience reviewing and communicating diagnostic results with patients
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR)

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive health histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and manage medication therapy within state scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies.
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, and hyperlipidemia.
  • Provide preventive care, including physical examinations, health screenings, and immunizations.
  • Provide women's, men's, adolescent, and geriatric primary care.
  • Evaluate and treat minor injuries, infections, respiratory illnesses, and other common conditions.
  • Provide patient education regarding nutrition, exercise, medications, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention.
  • Perform or assist with appropriate office-based procedures.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Review and communicate diagnostic results with patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR).
