About The Position

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an exciting APN opportunity in our Family Medicine clinic in Hinsdale. This role will be part clinical and part administrative. The Nurse Practitioner will see acute patients only for clinic, approximately 8 patients per day. The schedule is 5 days per week and rotating Saturdays. Administrative work includes triage EMR inboxes, refill medications, review labs and controlled substances, etc. This role will also provide coverage for physicians on PTO, medical leave, etc., and manage EPIC Inboxes for assigned Physicians.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• ACLS Certification
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration
• Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with attending Physician
• Must have experience in full spectrum Family Medicine
