Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area. Responsibilities include in-patient consultations and follow-up for cardiology patients on medical and ICU floors and the emergency department. Use your expertise and passion for educating, diagnosing, treating and providing services to patients and empowering them to stay healthy. You will work with a dynamic team to optimize the patient’s health and wellness. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in a life-changing career journey focused on amazing patient outcomes every step of the way: This is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week position supporting Inpatient and Emergency Department (ED) care. The schedule includes every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with additional holiday coverage as needed. Shifts are 10 hours and the position is located in Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.
Requirements
- BSN from an accredited program
- Master's in Nursing in the specialty of practice
- Experience working as an NP
- Current NYS RN License
- Current NYS NP License in the area of practice
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification through the AHA
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Nice To Haves
- Experienced NP within a Cardiology healthcare setting
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practice
