Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Montana Nurse Practitioner license.
- Full prescriptive authority.
- Current DEA registration.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Valid Montana driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and preventive care for patients.
- Perform exams, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens within scope of practice.
- Order, review, and follow up on labs, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostic testing.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, prevention, and wellness.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- Perform routine in-office procedures within training, competency, and scope.
- Recognize and triage urgent or emergent medical concerns.
- Collaborate with the care team to support whole-person, coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement and Patient-Centered Medical Home initiatives.
- Assist with off-hours coverage as needed to support continuity of care.
