About The Position

Groups is a leading outpatient provider specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, committed to supporting underserved communities affected by the opioid crisis. Since 2014, their local care teams have helped hundreds of thousands of individuals on their path to recovery through compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care. This approach combines medication, group therapy, and personalized support, delivered both online and in person. Groups aims to help members build a foundation for long-term recovery and fulfilling lives, working with community partners, public agencies, and health plans to improve addiction healthcare.

Requirements

• Active, Unencumbered State License (NP/APRN) in Kentucky.
• Active, Individual DEA with address listed in Kentucky.
• Minimum of 1+ Years Experience Prescribing Buprenorphine.
• Proof of Completion of Required Minimum Training for Buprenorphine.
• Proof of Active Board Certification (NP/ APRN; any specialty).
• Ability to work in-office at our Paducah location 5 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting intakes, seeing patients after an extensive evaluation by a counselor.
• Monitor patients' clinical progress during group counseling sessions, answering questions and managing medication dosing.
• Authorize patients' prescriptions during monthly visits.
• Complete all notes and reporting in the Groups EMR system within the required timeline.
• Focus exclusively on medical management, as the technology-driven and team-based clinical system handles day-to-day patient management and regulatory compliance.
