About The Position

The Nurse Navigator guides patients and families through the complexities of healthcare by coordinating care, providing education, and supporting timely access to services. The role serves as a consistent point of contact, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, patient-centered support throughout their care journey. The Nurse Navigator performs other duties as assigned and carries out all responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience in care coordination, patient education, or case management.
• Oncology experience, if applicable to the patient population.
• Certification in a relevant specialty, such as Oncology Certified Nurse or Nurse Navigator certification.
