About The Position
This is a supplemental midwifery position with Legacy Medical Group (LMG) Midwifery, practicing at the Legacy Salmon Creek Medical campus and the Legacy Medical Group–Obstetrics and Gynecology at Salmon Creek clinic. The practice provides independent, full-scope care in a team-based model, including outpatient and inpatient services for adolescent and adult patients. The role provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, family-planning, and well-woman gynecological care within the practitioner’s scope of practice and established guidelines. The midwife consults with physicians when appropriate and provides collaborative care or referrals for medical management as needed. Practice guidelines and standards are established jointly by LMG Midwifery staff and the Program Director under the direction of the Clinical VP of Women’s Services. The position also follows organizational, regulatory, and human resource policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Full-scope women’s healthcare and midwifery experience.
- Ability to work with people diplomatically and tactfully, using effective leadership and group process skills.
- Current applicable state licensure as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP).
- National certification as a Nurse Midwife.
- Active BLS card from the American Heart Association.
- Current licensure as required by staff and state requirements.
- Education as required by licensure.

- Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
