Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience with at least one year of leadership experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of women’s health experience in nursing required.
  • Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. If candidate has another compact state RN license, NC state licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  • BLS is required.
  • Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking during 8 hour shift with the ability to move or lift at least fifty pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
  • Women’s health/Urogynecology experience preferred
  • Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Staffing nursing specific assignments within the department.
  • Staffing support staff for providers within the department.
  • Administrative duties including: ordering supplies, scheduling staff, assignments, reviews, monitoring accreditation readiness, monitoring workflows for drift and correcting/coaching when necessary, payroll, interviewing staff, reviewing staff performance.
  • Working with clinic and department leaders to achieve department specific goals.
  • Assisting any area of the clinic including the front as needed.
  • Participate in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate assistance or educational offerings.
  • Participate in the identification of clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and in performance improvement activities.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
