About The Position
Geisinger offers Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in outpatient clinic settings a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. With hundreds of community-based sites across the region, Geisinger empowers LPNs to work at the top of their license—delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive ambulatory environment. As a Clinic Nurse, you’ll provide essential clinical support to providers, patients, and families, helping to ensure accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and continuity of care. This role is ideal for LPNs with prior inpatient or med-surg experience who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Licensed Practical Nurse License
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care in assigned clinical areas

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in inpatient or med-surg nursing strongly preferred

Responsibilities
- Collect and document patient history, vital signs, and chief complaints
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and skin testing under provider direction
- Collect and process lab specimens with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and providers to support timely care
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, properly equipped, and meet aseptic standards
