About The Position
The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department. The position supervises and monitors the performance of Emergency Department staff and interacts with physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients, and patients’ families or significant others to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current, valid state Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification upon hire and maintained as current.
- At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
- PALS certification upon hire and maintained as current.
- ACLS certification upon hire and maintained as current.
- At least three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical or acute care setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for hires after 1/11/2021.
- For non-OB facilities, NRP certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained as current.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
