About The Position

Mercer Medicine is seeking a Nurse Manager for its outpatient multispecialty clinic in Macon, Georgia. The Nurse Manager serves as the lead nurse and oversees patient volume and delegation of tasks to clinical team members to support an efficient flow through intake, care, and checkout. The position contributes to clinical operations, staffing, staff development, budgeting, and inventory management.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing.
Five years of clinical nursing management experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Registered Nurse with licensure in the state of Georgia.
Valid CPR certification.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement processes, and patient safety initiatives.
Ability to provide leadership, especially in nursing care methods and procedures.
Knowledge of HIPPA laws.
Proficiency in medical terminology.
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

BSN or MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee patient volume and delegate tasks to clinical team members to support efficient patient flow through intake, care, and checkout.
Assist with developing clinic policies and procedures for clinical care.
Recruit and onboard essential clinical staff.
Evaluate the performance of clinic support staff and nurses, provide feedback and mentoring, develop education programs, and contribute to staff development.
Assist with developing department budgets.
Evaluate and maintain inventory of medicines, equipment, and supplies.
