About McIntosh Trail At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.
Requirements
- Licensed in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in mental health, particularly in inpatient settings.
- Experience documenting in an electronic health record.

Responsibilities
- Creates schedules to ensure coverage that is in compliance with State and other accrediting body guidelines, and approves timesheets.
- Covers some nursing shifts on the unit when needed.
- Coordinates with medical and clinical providers, administrative staff, and other agency programs or community stakeholders to coordinate care and operations.
- Performs assurance activities to ensure that services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible in the community.
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Provides ongoing education via staff meetings, classes, one-on-one training, emails, and other sources when deemed appropriate to ensure all staff in CSU, CSC, and Temp Obs are adequately trained and competent.
- Provides supervision to nursing staff and ensures CSU, CSC, and Temp Obs are running efficiently.
- Assists Director in ensuring all State, Federal, and applicable guidelines are being followed.
- Monitors infection control, medication administration, and documentation for thoroughness and accuracy.
- Assists Director in reviewing and updating policies.
