Nurse Manager
About The Position
Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is seeking a full-time, experienced Nursing leader to join their growing team. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and coaching a clinical nursing team. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure that all clinical operations are running smoothly and efficiently within their team. The Nurse Manager will oversee nursing staff at all three of their locations in Asheville, Candler and Marion and be based at their Minnie Jones Health Center at 257 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801. WNCCHS is committed to providing support and recognizing the hard work and initiative of their nurses.
Requirements
- Three years of nursing experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina
- BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification
- Satisfactory completion of educational program of clinical rotations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ambulatory nursing with two years in a supervisory/ management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
