About The Position
Reputable healthcare facility near Mankato, MN is seeking a full-time, permanent Med Surg Nurse Manager to join their growing team. This role involves maintaining the standards of nursing care, implementing hospital and nursing department policies, and ensuring each patient has an individualized care plan. The Nurse Manager will also collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and staff to develop educational goals and competencies for the unit.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a formal leadership role (e.g. charge nurse, team lead, assistant manager, nurse manager)
- Looking for a leader in the Med Surg Department
Responsibilities
- Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the hospital and nursing department
- Assures that each patient on the unit has a comprehensive care plane that is individualized to meet his/her needs
- Works with Chief Nursing Officer and individual staff to develop educational goals and competencies for all assigned to the unit
