About The Position

The Nurse Manager works independently and collaboratively with hospital and corporate systems to deliver efficient, cost-effective, high-quality patient care. The role manages department operations, oversees scheduling, and ensures staff and equipment are available to serve patients. Responsibilities include hiring, disciplinary actions, and annual staff reviews. The Nurse Manager also serves as an expert clinical nursing resource and supports Methodist Health System’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current certifications as required by the department.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

Nice To Haves

• 3 to 5 years of Nurse Manager experience preferred.
