About The Position

The Nurse Manager will work independently and interdependently with hospital, clinic and corporate systems to accomplish efficient, cost effective, quality patient care. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the running of the department while overseeing the schedule and ensuring staff and equipment is available to provide service to the patients, in addition to being responsible for hiring, disciplinary action and yearly reviews for the staff. This role will act as an expert clinical resource with regards to nursing. This position fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and compassionate care while supporting growth, innovation, and operational performance across the clinic environment. Inclement Weather Status Required to report. To provide strategic and operational leadership for clinic-based nursing and clinical support teams. This role oversees daily clinical operations, patient care delivery, staff development, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and fiscal stewardship to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager partners collaboratively with Physicians, APPs, and department leadership to drive clinical excellence, employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals and standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
  • Current certifications as required by department
  • 3 to 5 years Nurse Manager experience
  • 2 years of hospital nursing experience or demonstrated comparable achievement
