About The Position

Elk River Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Nurse Manager, RN to join their growing team. At Elk River Senior Living, they are redefining senior living in Little Canada, MN. They help seniors Age Magnificently in their gorgeous, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Nurse Manager becomes family and impacts the lives of residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents and shares responsibility for daily clinical operations.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two years’ management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
Assist with developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and client population.
Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
