About The Position

Under guidance from the Director of Procedural & Specialty Services or designee, the Nurse Manager organizes and directs the work of maternal child, nursery, labor & delivery, and med surg overflow nursing areas. Ensures delivery of safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care while maintaining quality standards. Promotes an environment that supports staff engagement, accountability, interdisciplinary collaboration, provider engagement, and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN license
• BLS upon hire.
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in relevant nursing units

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree preferred
• past management experience preferred
• NCI certification within 90 days.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months
