The Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Manager at GE Hooksett Occupational health is responsible for the operational, clinical, and administrative leadership of the GE Aerospace Onsite Medical Clinic. This role provides direct supervision and development of onsite clinical staff while ensuring the delivery of high-quality occupational health services that promote employee safety, wellness, regulatory compliance, and timely return to work. The Nurse Manager oversees all aspects of pre-placement medical evaluations, injury and illness management, return-to-work coordination, disability case management, regulatory compliance, and health surveillance programs. Working collaboratively with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources, Workers’ Compensation representatives, business leaders, healthcare providers, and external partners, the Nurse Manager develops and implements programs that minimize workplace injury, support employee health, and reduce lost work time. This position serves as the primary clinical resource for occupational health services, providing assessment, treatment, first aid, immunizations, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and crisis intervention while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, company, and regulatory requirements. The Nurse Manager leads clinic operations, manages personnel, monitors key performance indicators, reports operational metrics to GE leadership, participates in disability and worker’s compensation review meetings, supports EHS initiatives, and continuously improves occupational health processes to meet organizational goals. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, case management, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to balance employee advocacy with business objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
