About The Position

The Nurse Manager II - Cardiovascular Cath Lab position at CoxHealth South is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to effectively assess patient needs, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate the care provided. This role involves coordinating and directing care given by other team members and addressing system issues to ensure quality and efficient care. The incumbent provides oversight and management of operational, regulatory, and business processes within the department, leading the team in change facilitation, fostering innovation, and promoting self-development to achieve excellence in operations, patient safety, and quality. Excellent communication, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • At least one year of management experience
  • RN License active in the state of Missouri

  • Represents the department on several process improvement, standardization, and regulatory committees.
  • Operates strategic plan by setting and monitoring department Key performance measures and goals.
  • Determines department scope of care or service in relation to values, mission, and strategic plan of the institution.
  • Assist with developing long term department plans.
  • Delegates appropriately to other team members.
