About The Position
The Nurse Manager - DON at Reflections in Lancaster, OH, is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the clinical team and ensuring exceptional care experiences for residents. This role involves conducting resident assessments, developing care plans, providing health promotion services, and hands-on nursing care. The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for hiring, training, and leading the clinical team, coordinating infection control, managing medication programs, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives. Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations is essential.
Requirements
- Current state nursing licensure. LPN required, RN preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

- Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits
- Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident
- Delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents
- Approximately 20% of hours will be providing hands-on nursing responsibility and direct care
- Engages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Fosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members
- Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences
- Coordinates the Community’s infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance
- Develop and oversee the Community’s medication management program
- Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
