About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN leader to join our team as a Nurse Manager and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality care within an inpatient behavioral health environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Clinical Coordinator who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

Requirements

3–5+ years of nursing experience
Nursing degree
Current Maryland RN license or eligibility to obtain
BLS certification
Inpatient Behavioral Health/Psychiatric nursing experience
Previous leadership experience such as Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge RN, Nurse Supervisor, or Clinical Coordinator
Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills
Experience with quality improvement and performance management

Nice To Haves

Maryland APRN – Clinical Nurse Specialist license or eligibility
ACLS and/or PALS
Current experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager or similar nursing leader
Strong knowledge of behavioral health standards, regulations, and best practices

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of an inpatient Behavioral Health unit
Support safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff
Oversee staffing, performance, and unit operations
Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Drive quality improvement and evidence-based practices
Monitor patient care and clinical performance indicators
Ensure compliance with nursing, regulatory, and accreditation standards
Support departmental budgets, staffing, and resource management
Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and operational efficiency
