About The Position

The Nurse Liaison provides excellent nursing services that exceed customer expectations, fostering an atmosphere of comfort, safety, well-being, and dignity for the elderly. The position requires a strong desire to work with the elderly, high personal integrity, a caring attitude, and a positive image, finding fulfillment in building relationships and caring for personal needs to enhance dignity.

Requirements

  • Licensed in practicing state as an R.N. or LPN.
  • Minimum of one year experience in resident/patient assessment.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge about sources of payment.
  • Understand the admission process from acute care to long-term-care.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time on day trips to hospitals, etc.
  • Ability to read and write well enough to follow written directions, do charting and resident assessments.
  • Verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to carry on conversations with hospital patients, residents, co-workers and family members in an understandable manner.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growth.
