About The Position

The Nurse Intern performs basic nursing procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The role requires flexibility in response to rapidly changing assignments and carrying out assignments from the registered nurse with a minimum of continuous supervision. The Nurse Intern is accountable to the nurses for patient care provided during a shift, adheres to nursing care standards, and promotes teamwork among coworkers. The estimated pay range is $23.50 per hour, depending on shift as applicable.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a nursing program and in good standing.
• Completed at least one clinical medical-surgical rotation.
• Within 15 months of completing a BSN or ADN nursing degree program.
• Required qualification: high school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• The qualifications list an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensure or certifications including Registered Nurse, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Minimum required experience: less than 1 year.
