The nurse observes, collects, and records information about patients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental status and self-care ability; analyzes assessment findings and test results to guide timely nursing interventions; implements age-appropriate care plans; and documents care and progress toward patient outcomes and goals completely and promptly.
Requirements
- Oregon RN License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- ACLS within 90 days.
- PALS within 6 months.
- ENPC within 6 months.
- TNCC within 12 months.
- 2,400 hours of acute care nursing experience within the last 2 years.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Observe, collect, and record data about patients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental status and self-care ability.
- Analyze assessment findings and test results to plan timely and effective nursing interventions.
- Implement age-appropriate plans of care.
- Document and use patient data to measure progress toward patient outcomes and goals.
- Document care completely and in a timely manner.
- Perform skilled procedures and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
