About The Position

At CHI Mercy Health, the Registered Nurse works in a supportive environment guided by Compassion, Inclusion, Integrity, Excellence, and Collaboration, delivering professional healthcare and whole-person care to the communities served. The RN provides compassionate, high-quality, individualized care and contributes to patient well-being and recovery through assessment, skilled nursing procedures, and implementation of care plans. The position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment focused on patient outcomes. The RN observes, collects, and records information about patients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental status and their ability to provide self-care. The RN analyzes assessment findings and test results to plan timely and effective nursing interventions, implements age-appropriate care plans, documents care completely and promptly, and uses patient data to measure progress toward patient outcomes and goals. Core schedule: Week 1—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; Week 2—Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Student loan repayment and relocation assistance are offered.

Requirements

Oregon RN license.
AHA BLS certification.
ACLS certification within 90 days.
PALS certification within 6 months.
ENPC certification within 6 months.
TNCC certification within 12 months.
2,400 hours of acute care nursing experience within the last 2 years.
Associate’s degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

Observe, collect, and record data related to patients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental status and self-care ability.
Analyze assessment findings and test results to plan timely and effective nursing interventions.
Implement age-appropriate plans of care.
Document and use patient data to measure progress toward patient outcomes and goals.
Document care completely and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
