About The Position

The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner II uses nursing professional development tools, theories, skills, and knowledge to improve staff practice. The practitioner functions as a change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry, partner for practice transitions, and advocate for the nursing professional development specialty.

The position is with Phoenixville Hospital, a 144-bed facility in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, and part of Tower Health. The hospital provides emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and community outreach services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience.
• Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification and instructor qualification if responsible for a specialty course program.
• PALS certification and instructor qualification if responsible for a specialty course program.
• Complete and maintain all competencies and trainings required for the role.

Nice To Haves

• Critical care experience preferred.
