As the Nurse Educator at Springhill, you'll play a key role in developing and mentoring nursing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and driving clinical excellence. Your leadership and expertise will help ensure residents receive the highest quality care while supporting the growth and success of our nursing team. Requirements
- Two (2) years of Geriatric Nursing and experience in supervision of others
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Infection Preventionist Certification but willing to assist with obtaining the certification
Responsibilities
- Developing and mentoring nursing professionals

- Supporting the growth and success of our nursing team
- Infection control preventionist
- Oversight of the restorative nursing program
- Education in the SNF
- Assisting with audits, regulatory concerns, state surveys and other areas that need addressed
- Assisting with covering charge nurse or medication pass in the event of staffing needs
- Assisting with new hire and annual competencies
- Participating in monthly and quarterly QAPI meetings
