Requirements
- Two (2) years of Geriatric Nursing and experience in supervision of others
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Infection Preventionist Certification but willing to assist with obtaining the certification
Responsibilities
- Infection control preventionist
- Oversight of the restorative nursing program
- Education in the SNF
- Assist with audits, regulatory concerns, state surveys and other areas that need addressed, in conjunction with the Director of Nursing
- Assist with covering charge nurse or medication pass in the event of staffing needs
- Assists with new hire and annual competencies
- Participates in monthly and quarterly QAPI meetings
